European Fellowships are held in EU Member States or Associated Countries and are open to researchers currently within and outside Europe. The country where the European Fellowship is held is subject to the rules of mobility. Global Fellowships are based on a secondment to a third country and a mandatory 12 months return period to a European host or Associated country. The researcher must comply with the rules of mobility in the country where the Fellowship takes place. At the time of the relevant deadline for submission of proposals, researchers shall not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies etc.) in the country of their host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date.
Purpose: Postdoc Career development and training of researchers – with a focus on innovation skills – at the University of St.Gallen
Eligible applicants: junior researchers who hold a doctorate (PhD)
Available resources: own salary (up to 58'560 € p.a.) at an employment rate of 100% (obligatory), congress subsidies, research costs, training & networking costs up to 9'600 € p.a. n addition to the living allowance (4'880 € per month), a mobility allowance (600 € per month) and a family allowance (500 € per month) will be paid for some categories of researchers.
