Freshers’ Week Team 2018 Our team of the Freshers’ Week consists of the Project Management Team and the student team. Freshers' Week Project Management Team Prof. Dr. Roman Capaul is the Academic Director of the Assessment Year. As associate professor, he teaches Business Administration with focus on Business Education at the University of St.Gallen and is a member of the Directorate at the Institute of Business Education and Educational Management. He is the author of various textbooks. Dipl.- Soz.- Wiss. Miriam Mrisi is Project Manager of the Freshers' Week and has been involved in the Freshers' Week since 2011. She studied Social Sciences at the University of Duisburg in Germany and has lived in Switzerland since April 2009. In her free time, Miriam Mrisi spends time with her horse, Charly. Mattea Bieniok B.A. HSG joined the Freshers' Week as a Project Assistant in February 2019, after having worked on the student team in 2017 and 2018. She completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of St.Gallen in business administration with additional training in business education. She also works as a student assistant at the Kinder-Uni. In her free time, she likes dancing. Jay Binneweg M.A. HSG studied journalism and business administration in the USA and worked for several years for various newspapers before coming to St.Gallen to complete his SIM Master's degree at HSG. He has been working for the Assessment Year and the Freshers’ Week since 2012. Samuel Obrecht M.A. HSG, Dipl. Wipäd. is group leader for the Assessment Year and joined the Freshers’ Week team in January 2019. After studying economics with additional training in business education at the University of St.Gallen, he taught for several years at the high school level in the Canton of St.Gallen. Irina Peterhans B.A. HSG joined the Freshers' Week as a Project Assistant in February 2019, after having worked on the student team in 2017 and 2018. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the University of St.Gallen, is currently working toward a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance, and has completed an additional course in Business Education at the University of St.Gallen. She also works at the HSG as a group fitness instructor at Unisport and MFIT and enjoys spending her free time with her horse, Ladira. Student team of the Freshers' Week Jelena Miletić is in charge of recruiting, training, leading and supervising the Support Crew in the area of the Freshers’ Week Café as well as for the associated sponsoring. She has been studying Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen since 2017 and served in the Support Crew during the Freshers’ Week 2018. Alongside her studies, she is passionately involved in handball, both as a referee and in helping her favorite club, TSV Fortitudo Gossau, with various organizational tasks. Jelena has been part of the Freshers’ Week team since February 2019. Lukas Zumbrunn is in charge of the planning and implementation of the Closing Event, for recruiting, managing and supervising the Documentation Team and for maintaining the social media channels. He has been studying International Relations at the University of St.Gallen since 2017 and served as a tutor in the Digital Documentation Team during the Freshers’ Week 2018. Alongside his studies, he writes for the HSG student magazine "prisma" and works there as editor in-chief. Lukas has been part of the Freshers’ Week team since February 2019. The Student Team was also responsible for recruiting the tutors.
